James D. LaVallee, Managing Partner & Owner

Jim has worked in all facets of the Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) sides of the construction industry for over 30+ years and still maintains his Master Plumbers license.


Jim brings a thorough understanding of Building Automation Systems to North Lynx as it has been his main focus for the past 20+ years.  He holds a Niagara N4 certification and is certified on TACO Clarity Vision software and is a certified iWorx installer.


Jim has served in Business Development, Sales and Marketing roles, negotiation design-build systems, existing expansions and system layout. With today's complex projects and specifications based around connected building solutions, Jim's experience and knowledge of today's competitive market is an asset for North Lynx and our clients.

Phil Bresnahan, Partner & Co-Owner

Phil has 30+ years of experience in the HVAC, temperature control and building automation industry.  His project management skills ensure execution and maintain schedules


His overall knowledge of engineered systems and his programming ability provides us with an edge over our competitors and returns value to our customers.

Phil is certified in Johnson Controls' CCT 14 programming language.

Ryan LaVallee, Controls Engineer & Co-Founder

Ryan received his Bachelors in Electro-Mechanical Engineering from Vermont Technical College in 2008 and his Masters in Engineering Management from The Pennsylvania State University in 2014.

He started his career designing BAS systems for the New York City School Construction Authority in 2006, and started North Lynx with Jim in 2015.

Ryan is certified on the Tridium Niagara Ax Framework and Niagara N4 Framework.


Scott Bellows, Application Engineer

Scott has 30+ years of experience in the temperature control and building automation industry. He received an Electrical Engineering degree from Vermont Technical College.


His software, graphic development and programming skills over numerous platforms make him an extremely valuable assistant on our team.

Scott is certified on the Tridium Niagara Ax Framework and Niagara N4 Framework.


Brian Gosselin, Master Electrician
Brian has 30+ years of electrical experience in the residential, commercial, and industrial automation segment of his industry.


His professionalism on project sites has been recognized and noted through his peers. Brian brings a strong work ethic and deep knowledge necessary to support these types of installations.


Jonathan Plante, Installation Technician

Jonathan supports our electrical staff while installing the equipment we integrate into our Building Automation Systems.

He is training on multiple industry standard platforms with North Lynx and his productivity in the field is reflective of such.
